Death of friend

In March our friend passed and my boss was left to deal with her stuff as the beneficiary. I have been trying to get Standard bank to stop the account, but with no luck. I have sent all documents except for the letter from the executor, which is to this day delayed because of the lockdown. And in the meantime, Standard bank refuses to stop debit orders going off her account. Her overdraft is maxed out and now my boss is expected to pay this because she is the beneficiary.

I have sent through the claims of credit protection and life insurance etc but unless I send the letter of executor nothing can be done. All I wanted them to do is stop the debit orders going off. They are charging interest on the overdraft and loan account. I don't know if this will be rectified.
