day light *******

I paid the settlement figure(which I got from std bank) on my cc in 02/2015 I have also since requested that the account be closed. I have received a paid up letter from std bank yet every single month I get a flippen statement saying I must make payment on this account. I have previously sent card division an email with the paid up letter but no response from them. Maybe they just to busy drinking tea to still have time to attend to my request ?? If its not to much trouble can this account be closed? ?? Or is std bank still going to try and claim interest from me ??? If this is not going to be resolved by close of busy on Tuesday 11/08/2015 I will be taking the matter further. To the banking ombudsman!!!
