Damaged Geyser and Ceiling
SOLAR geyser pannels were damaged by hail Storm in November 2015. The appointed plumber said the pannels were no longer manufacured, so we were forced to change the whole system. Of which the Bank was only prepared to pay for the pannels only which costs R1700 and they took R600 for excessential fee. Due to the leak from the geyser my ceiling was damaged and they sent a carpenter to see it. They said they won't be able to pay the amount because it was over their fee. It is raining so hard and my ceiling is getting worse as it rains. I have paid more than R17000 to replace the geyser which is unfair, I had no choice. Should I now still fix my ceiling and the leaking roof? Why are we paying home insurance when all the time we claim we are told about their payment limits. It is more than 3 months now and I am unhappy that I only donate my money and it doesn't serve it's purpose. The Consultant doesn't even bother to update me unless I call, is this how I should be treated as a paying customer.
