Damage caused to property - security compromised

On 1 November 2015, we had heavy winds which caused the branch of a municipality tree falling onto my fence and damaged the electrical fencing. reported this to the claims department at Standard Bank on 2 November. I had not heard from them for 11 days. The assessor and contractor arrived at my property unannounced because Standard Bank had given them the incorrect contact details. On 12 November due to weather conditions a further branch from the same tree caused more damage to the fence and this time damaging the actual fencing as well. I called the bank on 13 November at around 8:30am to update them and advise them that the claim would have to be relooked at due to the additional damage. At around 10:30 I received a call to let me know that my initial claim was approved and that they were going to pay me the amount quoted by the contractor less the excess. I advised them that further damage had occurred and I do not want to be paid out if I can't use their contractor (which is what they advised me). I have subsequently made numerous calls to follow up and to date nothing has been done. My security is being compromised.
