Customer Service at its best

I came into the Mall of the South branch of Standard Bank with quite a complex interbank transfer problem that needed sorting. After a short wait I was helped by Ms. Siziwe Mzwakali. This lady definitely went the extra mile. She was courteous, explained the issues clearly, and if I expressed any uncer*****y about what needed to be done, she went out of her way to ease the process. The transaction could not be completed immediately, so I left and she said she would phone me back. Ominous words! Everyone reading this will know the sinking feeling that always accompanies that statement. Will the phonecall come this year or next? Well, Ms Mzwakali phoned promptly as promised; and the same happened a second time as well. When I needed to speak to someone from a different department, instead of leaving me to explain everything from scratch, she paved the way before passing the call to me. I feel this level of assistance deserves recognition. This was "customer service" at its purest and best. Thank you, Ms Mzwakali, for leaving me with an extremely positive impression of the Standard Bank and its staff.
