Creditcard charges

Creditcard finanace: It is a absolute ******* from Standard Bank icw charges on a creditcard. Interested Charge R710.44 Cash Finance Charge R524.18 and again Finance Charge of R186.26 a total of R1420.88. I will never be able to paid my creditcard off with this extra deductions. I understand the interest rate, but why the rest?
