Credit machines down for 3 days over month end

We run a small business and have a Standard bank credit card machine, 80% of our business passes through our credit card machine as nobody carries cash, over the past 3 days and with month end approaching we are experiencing technical issues as the machine gives us an error saying \transaction declined
