Credit enquiry without my consent

I opened an account online afterwards I saw on my credit score that the very same day they have made an enquiry against me which I don't understand why. It says standard power curve which when I ask at te bank when I collect my check account card the consultant said it's the first time she heard about that. My concern is it affects my credit score. Standard bank must remove it as I never borrowed money or even try to open a credit card. I don't need a credit card. They have done enquiry without my consent
