Credit card Upgraded and listed as default
I was upgraded from Prestige Banking to Private Banking in April 2015. I only realised at month end that there was a higher fee, which I was never told about. New cards were issued, which the Prestige Banker sat with and never told me to collect. I requested to be moved back to Prestige because of the mysterious charge, and the slow service with the Pvt Banker. Then the mess on my profile started. I had to order the credit card from scratch, had to apply for a cheque card as if I am a new client. To top it all, when I was issued with a new credit card, Private Banking listed the old credit card with Experian credit bureau as if I defaulted on it, where as they issued me with a new card, same acc. Before I met Faith, my credit score was excellent, now I am a defaulter because when Standard bank issues you with a new card with a new higher limit, instead of cancelling the old card, they list it as a default. I have 2 home loans with them that are up to date, one almost paid up, a very good payer, but I am treated with disgust. I cant even get a mere cellphone contract because someone slept on their job. Now the 2 people at Private Banking dont even reply to my emails.
