Credit Card statement missing money

There is an issue with the statement on my credit with a few cents to almost a rand missing every month for the past few months. I have escalated this to Private Banking and a lady called me back to inform me that Standard Bank is aware of it but nothing has been done to fix it until the customer brings it to the attention of Standard Bank. I was basically told that the statement shown on the cellphone app and internet banking are wrong and that I must only refer to the statement emailed every month. How professional is this? Why do you even bother to have a cellphone app and internet banking if I, as a customer, cannot trust the figures shown there?

I was planning on writing 3 bad reviews about 3 completely different issues but for some reason Hellopeter does not allow me to do that. Here are the other 2 issues!

SECOND ISSUE - Standard Bank is marketing everywhere that there is a virtual credit and that it is safe. Obviously it is safe because you cannot use the credit card! Standard Bank's app function of tap to pay is ********** - it never works. You are always left stranded at the till if you think you can rely on Standard Bank and innovative technology. For about the last 3-4 times I have been to shop, either the virtual credit card disappears from the app (requiring to be set up again) or if surprise surprise, it is still there, it does not work. Payment failed!

THIRD AND MOST FRUSTRATING ISSUE - This has happened for the last 3 or 4 times I have purchased airline tickets (Air Mauritius and Swiss Airlines). The transaction is authorised twice - either blocking my credit card if there are not sufficient funds to cover double the cost of the air tickets or I have to make sure that I have double the amount of the air tickets on my credit card. And most of the time, no one at Private Banking has a clue what is the problem, blames the airline for having done, meaning I sit on the phone for an hour with the airline while they get their finance office to check for me to come back again to Standard Bank. And if by luck, I happen to speak to someone who actually knows what is going on, they will cancel the second authorisation and reverse the funds. I had to be completely frustrated with a clueless Private Banking consultant who said I need to raise a dispute with the airline blah blah blah and when I got completely annoyed, then she remembered that she can put me through to Card Authorisations!!!

Close to 3 weeks later, this matter is still not resolved. I have escalated once again but it clearly shows how much Standard Bank cares about its clients!
