CREDIT CARD NOT CLOSED AFTER BEING PAID OFF

I had a Standard Bank Credit Card that was handed over to attorneys. I contacted the attorney for the settlement offer and i was given one. i paid the required amount and received a paid up letter. The payment was done and received a paid up letter on 19 September 2017. i was informed to contact Standard Bank after 10 working days to confirm account closure and update on transunion. i called the bank after 15 days , still account not closed. i even sent the letter to the consultant .i called again 10 days later i was told there was a note that state account paid but no escalation for closing or ITC update. i then resorted to lodge a formal complaint till today that complain has not been resolved. Standard Bank is the worse bank ever in terms of administration . now the account not closed nor cleared on ITC.
