Credit card ***** claim No.802 403

I have been a member of this bank since opened my first account. Not once have I had a problem with you guy as standard bank.

You have help me when I needed assistance.

Now that I am a victim of card *****, I am left in the wind, I just receive a reply that the transactions that took place which are over R4000 are not the banks problem that I should pay.

In the very instance when I approach you(Standard bank) to say that some ********** activities happened I never blamed the bank. All I required was to have these transactions remove an let me pay what I know that I owe the bank for. Now I am expected to pay for transaction that I never authorised.

To my understanding that these transaction happened without my knowledge and confirmation.

First I am told about my pin code has being compromised, true it has been to no fault of my own.

Though as standard bank conveniently implicates that it is my fault. My card was lost on the day of 20 Jan 2017

I spent the night of the 20 and whole day of the 21 at a friends place. On the day of the 22 I notice an over draft to R6000 and some odd rands. I immediately stop my card

Then I see that on Wednesday/ Thursday the balance has reach R8000, to show that some transaction are still being made.

When I call the *****s department my case is treated with no heist and to that matter it too a merely 4-5 working days to give me a weak reply on how all is on my lap.

No form of evidence that some investigation has happened on the said of the bank.

All I get is ”I should have read my clauses, that its not the banks fault.” Even if you had to listen to the phone records in no time did I say it’s the banks fault.

No did I say I don’t want to pay all of the overdue how ever I want to pay I know I used .

How is it that they were able to figure the pin code, is my fault riddle me that please? ( An your call centre agent has the nerve to tell me that money was drawn out and balances were check at a ATM)

For one I never withdraw money with credit card.

What kind of ***** investigation is this, did you merely look at the fact that you had and tried to find a loop hole not remove these unauthorised transactions?

Did you even investigate the fact that whom ever this is where?, I thought standard bank had cameras in their ATMS.

The pecu**** thing is why would the card run over the limit in which I am allowed, for what purpose is it there for.

I can not express my disappointment but I have tried I have spoken to you customer service/ ***** department you investigate a ***** case within 5 days and come up with no explanation nor any form of evidence of showing that some investigations had taken place.

Never have I had to prove my innocence, you were a trustworthy bank and a bank I could depend on. I know this will not even be taken further, for finer investigations. Because nobody has clearly shown/told me what was check or investigated

Never had I thought to move banks, after this nonsense
