Credit card due date

I have a Standard Bank credit card they made instalment due 17th whereas i am getting paid on the 20th and i only realised now when they sent me sms that i am due. Apparently whenever i am making a late payment i am being handed over to collections as a late payer of which affects my credit record. I called and they say they will only be able to change that next year.<br> What upsets me most is that all these years i had this credit card i ve been going in and out of credit collections of which is not my fault because they take your payslip when you make an application to confirm your paydate.
