Credit Card blocked. Again.

<p>For the second time in 3 months my credit card has been blocked, for transactions that weren't (according to me) outside my normal transactions. First time was when paying for pizzas at Debonairs. NO CALL to confirm from ***** division as usual. Card automatically blocked. So there I stood with food I couldn't pay. It's a weekend, and according to the consultant at the ***** division they aren't allowed to hone people after hours? So they just block the card???? So off to the bank I went to waste half an hour trying to get it sorted. Found out there that the people working there phone the same number as the general public, and also have to wait to be helped????</p> <p> </p> <p>Second time, trying to pay my Municipal account at the post office. Card declined. 10 minutes later get a call to confirm the transaction, 3 Aug @ 14h39. Person who called CONFIRMS that card WILL NOT BE BLOCKED!</p> <p> </p> <p>Today I fill up with diesel, card is declined. AGAIN I am in a position where I can't pay for something I already have. How can my card be blocked even though the transaction attempt was confirmed with me?</p> <p> </p> <p>Phone the card divsion now @ 8h45. They apparently can't help me, I have to go into a branch... WHERE THE PEOPLE THERE PHONE THE SAME NUMBER!!!! </p> <p> </p> <p>I'm sorry but this is getting ridiculous. Now I have to go and spend another half an hour sitting in a bank, waiting for the number to be answered....then confirming details WHICH I COULD CONFIRM ON THE PHONE FROM ANYWHERE!!!! I understand that security is important, but this is ridiculous.</p>
