Credit card

where to begin.......

in 2012 I lost my job and for 3 months I did not work and had no income. The 1st month standard bank called and asked when I would pay my credit card, I explained my situation to them and was not given any options but just told to pay. I was also after the 1st month(yes just 1 month) loaded on ITC for bad credit, standard bank was not interested and I started getting bombarded with emails from "lawyers" for payment "or else". After I got work, I can't even remember if they started deducting the minimum amount again, I gather they did. In 2014 I was again without work but for a few months I did transfer money into my account so they could deduct for my credit card but then stopped when I could no longer do it. I received nothing from standard bank. When I started working in 2015, after the 1st month they deducted over R1000(minimum usually under R200 as my limit is only R4000, yes R4000 and I get threats from "lawyers") the 2nd month or 3rd they deducted R300 or R500 odd, there after they have been deducting on average R150 a month or 2nd month, sometimes in the beginning of the month other times at the end and now have started deducting an extra R45 for god knows what because they don't contact you for anything but yet I still get emails from "lawyers" threatening me to "pay or else" mainly suggesting that I will be listed ( oh wait I was listed the 1st month I missed a payment after explaining to standard bank that I did not have work and therefor an income and got nothing to propose how to go forward or to arrange any future payments) so I guess that's why I never bothered because they listed me. All I can say is, stop sending me threats, stop charging me (R45) for god knows what, take your minimum that you always did and sort out the account so you can close it and remove me from ITC. I don't know how you would expect me to pay into an account that you have blocked from me anyway, I cannot make payment into the account so how can you send me "lawyers" letters telling me to pay!

your customer service sucks, by far the worst bank I have ever been with.
