Credit card

During August 2015 I app**** for new card and received it along with a credit card,I immediately told the consultant that I don't want it and they must send it back and only took the cheque card with me.On The 20/01/16 I received a letter from Standard Bank saying I have failed to pay the credit card and my name has been listed on the credit bereu ,for a card that I have never had in my position.On the 21/01/16 I app**** for car finance and have been told I have been blacklisted and I don't qualify.And this is because of this credit card ,when I call the bank I have been told that I need to wait 10 days as the matter is being investigated and the problem is the car I want is gona b sold and it's gona take forever for my name to be permanently removed from the listed.Please help as I am devastated and have been paying all my accounts on time .But have been seriously inconvenienced.
