CRAZY BANK CHARGES

I have a cheque account with Standard Bank and was so happy about the service and bank charges until 4 months back when the bank charges escalated from approximately R100 to R200, then R400 and now R1000. This is actually ridiculous, especially in my financial state at the moment. I am so furious because I even cancelled all my debit orders with the service providers and I pay them directly on a monthly basis. I can use that amount to buy my 11 month old food and nappies.
