COULDNT HELP ME APPLY FOR A LOAN

i visited the above branch in the morning of 8 september 2015 , to enquire about the requirements of a loan application and was told they need a passport with a work permit ,proof of residence and my salary advice .i went back home to organise all the papers i need then went back .i have been a standard bank account holder for about 3years now and i am a zsp permit holder , when i opened my account it was not a problem but on this day i waited for my turn to see a consultant who checked my proof of residence ,permit and salary advice and said the documentation is fine then he went to consult his workmate and all hell broke .He came back now asking for my employment contract which i wasnt told about in the first place when i went to enquire . <br> <br> i wasnot happy with this , is this the right procedure or someone didnt want to help me with the application i need answers
