Convinced to stay

The intention of this review was to do, a negative write up on Standard Bank.

I have been a client theirs, for over four decades. Recently, I have decided to open a Stanlib investment account. This unfortunately didn't work out; due to reasons I don't care to elaborate on.

What was important for me about this was, this is when I crossed paths with Ms. Sibongiseni Maqubela & Ms. Marelize Victor. From the word go, these ladies were hands-on and extremely supportive!

Without going into too much detail, I paid funds into a Stanlib account which was then transferred to my Discovery Bank account. This is where it gets a bit confusing, but please bear with me. The funds were in the SB system, but I received no interest on it.

It took a bit of going back and forth, during which time I have requested a debtor's list from SB, which was kindly provided to me by Ms. Dendra Enslin, this helpful, friendly lady, from the Prestige Team gave me a call when I was at my wit's end with SB. Her kind demeanor, really made her a pleasure to work with.

I still required resolution on my funds within the SB system. Luckily at this point Mr. Kenny Fisher & Ms. Zainab Armien from Prestige Banking, Western Cape stepped in. They were able to track the funds & transfer it to my account within a few hours.

All involved, please know that your efforts are greatly appreciated. Ms. Zainab Armien who had to endure the frustration of my brunt, I humbly apologize & I thank you for letting bygones be bygones!

A lengthy, but pleasant & insightful telephonic discussion with Mr. Kenny Fisher has convinced me to stay a client of Standard Bank.
