Continues correspondence to deceased account holde
My dad passed away last year November (2014).

Standard Bank was the first company who was informed of his passing, the very next day via email including copies of death certificate etc.. Standard Bank took over 1 month to close his accounts - even though numerous phone calls were made.

After all the payments had been made, the bond amount due was settled in full and the estate is in the process of being wound up. Until .... we received yet another letter from Standard Bank Home Loans regarding interest rate changes.

Not only is this an incredibly bad reflection of the administration of the bank but more so incredibly inconsiderate and down right callous in terms of us as a family, having to constantly be reminded that our dad has passed on but due to *********** staff we are having salt rubbed into our wounds.

This matter has been handed over to our lawyers, but Standard Bank needs to start taking responsibility for their absolute disgraceful conduct.
