Computer upgrades cause lost account
After a computer upgrade, Standard bank lost all info on my account, and my accounts were frozen. It took the better part of a week to get hold of the branch, and when I spoke to them they told me it was a glitch (2 compute systems not sharing info) and that it was sorted out. TWO WEEKS after that, and my cheque card is still not working, despite having been told twice that the problem had been fixed.

It seems the bank is incapable of resolving this problem. Come clean, Standard Bank, have your recent computer upgrades caused data loss? Isn't that ******** negligence?

In any case, looks like I'm going back to cash again - I was unable to buy food for my children AGAIN this morning (despite having access to money in my account), and now we are all out of food at home. Looks like I'll have to pretend it's the \olden days"and go find cash to use."""
