<p>Hi, </p> <p>I called Standard Bank about 5 times and spoke to many, many different people in all departments regarding buying dollars. They told me that the only option I had was to go into the foreign exchange bank. I have now seen, from a pamphlet, that there is an app called Shyft that a standard bank customer can use to purchase dollars or any currency. I tried to get this done before the rand and dollar fell badly and now to discover that I could be bought the dollars when it was still reasonable. I am highly, highly disappointed in Standard Bank. The employees are not up to scratch on all the products and this is not on! FNB has an easy platform for one to use, all online! </p>
