Comit Technologies ******* debit order
I have a debit order for +- R15.00 that has been coming off my Standard Bank account since the early 2000's and has now increased to R135.00. I have tried many times over the years to stop this but have always been told by Standard Bank that they cant stop it. I have to cancel it with whoever is drawing it. My bank statement indicates it is Telkomsa Telephone account but Standard Bank info says it is going to Comit Technologies. I have never authorized such a debit order, how do I stop this, seems like the only option is to close the Standard Bank account and move to a new bank.

22 Nov 2019, 08:57 So this saga with Standard Bank and Comit Technologies continues.
I eventually received an email from Standard Bank informing me that there is nothing that the bank can do and that I should approach Comit Technologies to stop the debit order. I eventual managed to speak to a lady who is part of Comit who informed me that Comit consists of more that a hundred companies and was unable to help me unless I knew which one was making the debits so back to Standard Bank to be told that if I cant get the drawer of the debit order to stop it then the only thing to do is close the account which I have had for over thirty five years.
It is a scary thought that in the 21 century my bank does not have an overruling control of what is been drawn from my account.
