Collapsed Wall
Yesterday (19 Feb 2019) I tried calling Standard Bank Insurance once again. Due to the heavy rain just before 15 Jan 2019 I tried calling quite a few times, no success and then emailed SBIB. In fact I emailed them on 15 Jan, 17 Jan,21 Jan and 25 Jan. Absolutely no response from them. Now with last week's rainfall my perimeter wall has collapsed!! What about the security of my property now. I'm fed up now, quick to take my money, but no response. What if this was a geyser that burst. SBIB I am SO DISAPPOINTED WITH YOU!!!!

Firstly by either answering the phone or by answering my email which i have sent 3 or 4 times. While hanging on the line and listening to your dreadful music and same message repeatedly, why can't you have a count, saying "you are number 10 in the queue"? You are sitting waiting, are you number 40 or the next call to be answered.
My email read.....15 Jan 2019 "Good afternoon
After all the heavy rain we have seen, my boundary wall has a big crack in it and I am worried that it is going to collapse soon.
The wall is about 4m in length. I would like to know whether my Home Owner’s policy covers the rebuild of this wall.
Kind regards
Doreen"
While it is important for me to get an answer from SBIB at least I am not sitting with a GEYSER problem. Just imagine more than a week with a leaking geyser. My husband and I have been loyal customers of Standard Bank for more than 55 years. Not nice the way you treat your customers.
AM I GOING TO NOW GET A RESPONSE FROM STANDARD BANK? OR IS THIS TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR?
