Closing Revolving Loan Account

I want to close my Revolving Loan Account. I have phoned countless times and have been told to go the branch, even though it clearly states on the Standard Bank website that I can *** to close the Revolving Loan.

This is ridiculous to expect me to stand in a queue at the branch, during HIGH PEAK COVID, just to close an account, which can be done over the phone. This is not only putting my life at risk, but the person in the bank as well as my family.

I expect more from Standard Bank during these times. How difficult can it be to close something that is PAID OFF? I don't want another loan, I simply want to close it, and surely this can't be difficult to do OVER THE PHONE.
