Closed account not credited
I had an account with standard bank which had a negative balance of above roughly - R 1800, I rounded off the amount and paid R 2000 in December 2018. I called the bank even went to the branch, they said they could see the payment but there is nothing they could do as the account has already been closed. I went to FNB where I did the payment from and I was told that STANDARD BANK should refund the amount. Numerous calls were made without success, till to date the amount has not been credited back.
