Claim no 15/089722

We had a cupboard installed an while making new one took dishwasher out and supported granite with stainless steel pipe. The pipe in the wall was closed (inlet) but tap shot out and pressure of water blew pipe out and granite broke into pieces. I called *** to report and asked if I could get someone to put a stopper in pipe so I can turn water back on and they agreed. The people working here then had to open wall and cut pipe straight to put stopper in. The front part of the tap disappeared with all the comotion. They sent plumber out late the following day but refused to repair as they wanted proof of pipe bursting. Same with granite as there is no water damage and according to them accidental. In my view it was the impact of the water on the pipe that caused damage. I was prepared and all the others present that day to declare under oath of what happened. I have paid premium for years and the very first time I claim I am treated like a ****.
