Cheque account not closed

I went to the southgate standard bank branch to close my account in March. Till this day my account has not been closed and I have been accumulating service fees for an account I don't use and closed in March.<br> <br> I called the contact centre and I am told I need to go back to the branch. I do not have time to go back to the branch and stand in long exhausting queues. Eunice the lady who assisted me was meant to close this account. <br> <br> Can this account be closed please and all the credits reversed. I cannot be paying for a service I closed a long time ago.
