cheating me out of ucount points

In june i app**** for car finance with standard bank wishing to put all my eggs in one basket (basket being standard bank) for various reason i did not proceed but apparently whenever you apply for a product they automatically deactivate your marketing consent (which pushes me from tier 4 down to tier 3), so i begrudgingly went into the branch on the 1st of july and reactivated, this being the day immediately after i realised this happens, i was never warned this was the case and to be honest i dont think its fair to just automatically deactivate this everytime i make an enquiry

today i called the ucount call center and spoke to an angela and she told me it would only count towards NEXT months total. so thats two months i loose around R200-R300 through no fault of my own other than talking to my bank about vehicle finance... She PROMISED to call me back today but as usual no call was received

We plan all our groceries and petrol trips around the ucount to try and pinch every penny but this is just plain unfair, we played by the rules but standard bank just changed them out from under us
