Charges levied on dormant accounts

It is fact that when Standard Bank issue a dormant letter on a holding company account which has no transactions that they continue to charge monthly services fees.<br> <br> So much so that after years of operating a \dormant"account they still charge the fees.<br> <br> After visiting them and explaining the issue I was advised by Mr Gengen in the Standard Bank offices that charges probably \""should\"" not be levied on dormant accounts.<br> <br> I then get an e-mail that he only referred the matter to a business banker on the account"
