Charged for a THREE Year Old "CLOSED" Bank Account

A few years ago i posted a review/complaint regarding Standard bank that was charging me ridiculous amounts every month for a cheque account that i had requested to be closed but due to the laziness of thier staff it was never closed and i was being charged overdrawn fees which strangly i never had a over draft. but after i posted that review 2 days later my phone went crazy with sms notifications reversing all those charges and the branch manager contacted me. i was actually impressed with the service. BUT then today i get a call from those rude & harrasing debt collectors Norman Bisset saying that i owe R2061,55 to Standard Bank. i mean ***. i havent been in a STD bank or used a standard bank account i think in over 2 years. i was also informed back then by the manager that the account will be closed. now i find out ive been handed over and have NEVER EVER recieved any phone calls from the bwnk saying i owe money. its pathetic and sad that places like the banks can do aa they please and demand money when they deem fit from ppl that are struggling financially due to these reasons. unfortunately i do not have access to the email address i used back then to get the review and reply i got. i NEED THIS SORTED OUT ASAP otherwise i will be forced to take the matter further and make it public how STD Bank conduct business. you people are F**KING up my credit scores. FIX IT!!!!!
