CASH STUCK IN ATM
Extremely disappointed in standard bank's service. I know that R150 is not much to you guys but to me it makes a difference!! On the 2nd of September I was doing a deposit of 12000 at one of your atms outside Kuilsriver branch. Long story short, the atm rejected one of the notes and asked if I wanted to proceed with the amount it had accepted or cancel the whole deposit. I proceeded to say cancel the deposit. The atm then indicated that I should take the cash out from the atm and as I was taking it out it closed the section where the money comes out , it immediately opened again and I grabbed the rest of the notes there . While I was still grabbing,it closed once again and this time it ddnt open again, instead the screen just said transaction cancelled, please take your cash. I stood there for a good half an hour as the security guard that was there advised me to be a little patient with the atm. Needless to say it didn't help as the atm still reflected the same message and cash was still stuck in there. I then moved to another atm and deposited the R1050 I had managed to get back from the cancelled deposit and left that faulty atm with the R150 in it. I sent my brother on the 4th of September to report the matter at the branch and he was advised it will take 3_5 working days . On Monday he received an sms with this reference number ********** 496 saying the query was still being attended to. Today a.phone call came in saying there was no 150 found in the atm . So it takes you guys 8 days to balance an atm and on top of that not find cash which was definitely stuck in there. Like I said 150 is.nothing to.you guys ,but I am a single mum and every cent counts! Thank you very much for giving me one more reason to move to Fnb. PATHETIC. Service!!!
