Cash Jam at Standard Bank Savannah Mall goes missing

On the 4th of Nov 2017 at around 11h32, I went to Standard bank at Savannah Mall in Polokwane. I deposited an amount of R4000 into my business account at the ATM as the bank was closed. R2400 showed immediately via SMS and R1600 went missing when the ATM jammed and stopped taking notes. The only slip I got for this transaction was an error message. I then requested the security guard to alert the bank officials that the ATM had jammed. The bank sent someone to fix the jam and it was fixed immediately while I waited. A couple of people used the very same ATM after it was fixed and deposited successfully. The following Bank day Monday the 6th November 2017, I went into the bank to report my missing money. I was told that it will be investigated. The feedback I got from the ATM custodian after 3 days or so, was that they did not find the R1600. All they found in the Jam was 2 x R200 notes. I asked for CCTV footage and they told me to go to the police and open a case. I REFUSE TO GO OPEN A CASE, I am a business man. I do not have time. 1. I need to deal with a competent person because it looks like in that whole bank no one knows what happened to R1600. 2. Failure to do so, I will be suing the bank for loss of income. I need this sorted in less than 48 hours or you will be hearing from my lawyers and trust me I will get much more than R1600.
