CASH GON MISSING

We were on holiday in Margate and wanted to transfer some money from one account to another.

On the 29/06/2016i went to Margate Standard Bank and asked at the Enquiries to please link my

Husband cheque account at ABSA to this account. I gave the Clerk (A179152) the card and he went

on and linked the account for me account.

He also said I can do it outside at the machine. I went outside and transferred R15 000.00 to that

Account.

On checking the cheque account no money went through

On the 04/07/2016 I went to Standard Bank Delmas my home town to ask them about the amount

Amount that was transferred and it did not go to the correct account.

Tiny checked for me and it clearly shows the amount is out of my account. On the document we

Realised the Enquiry Clerk (A179152) used the following card number ********** ********** 52 and

Called it a ABSA CREDIT card the following clerk (05139) CORRECTED for me the account because

It was a ABSA cheque account ********** 91.

Michelle then took the case over at Delmas Branch gave me a number ********** 5986. At the 11 June

She also phoned me and told she has no answer yet regarding the money and said it should have

Bounced back into my account and it did not happen. The same day she gave me documents to fill in

And I had to fax it to the payment recall letter and they will give me an answer on the 25/07/2016

That once again did not happen. Michelle said they will phone me and nobody phoned me. I once

Again went into the bank and spoke to Tiny and she said they did not assign the problem to a person

If that is not done nobody can help me. I sat in her office and she spoke to the H/O of Standard bank

And they then assigned somebody to the problem and she said somebody will phone me and

Nobody did do so. I then phoned her on the 29 June 2016 and gave her the information that

nobody phoned me. She then followed up and said she will phone me later the day. She then

phoned me at 18H00 and said they will let me know what happened now. Not once has anybody

at the bank gave me the assurance that my money will be transferred back into my account.

On 01/08/2016 when I opened my e-mail this was the e-mail I received:

Good day Anthony

Kindly refer to the following query and advise accordingly. Customer is unhappy at this stage:

MRS MARYNA DE MEYER

EAP TRACE AND RECALL

GOOD DAY

PLEASE ASSIST WITH A TRACE AND RECALL FOR CUSTOMER AS THEY HAVE MADE PAYMENT INTO AN INCORRECT ACCOUNT AND WOULD LIKE THEIR FUNDS RETURNED TO THEIR ACCOUNT.

CHECKED STATEMENT FOR TRANSACTION

SECURITY CHECK DONE

ID NO: ********** 088086

ACC NO: ********** 25

CELL: ********** 572

EMAIL: **********
MYUPDATES – ACTIVE

TRANSACTION DETAILS –

DATE: 29/06/2016

REFERENCE: ABSA CREDIT CARD

AMOUNT: R15 000

THANK YOU

MICHELLE : A222843 MOLEFE, MICHELLE LM ********** : CALLED IN TO HAVE ENQUIRY LOGGED AS PER CUSTOMER REQUEST AS HER NDS IS OFFLINE AND HAS LOGGED A CALL WITH IT.
