Cash Finance Charges on Credit Card

I transferred money from my credit card to my cheque account a few months ago. I was aware I would be charged a fee for this transaction however I was unaware that I would be billed for this on a monthly basis not on the amount that was transferred but on the entire balance on my credit card. I was not made aware of this and queried this with the call centre agent who basically said there was nothing I could do about it. I am very disappointed at this and am being billed around R 450.00 per month in addition to the interest charges on my account. I would like an amicable solution to this matter
