Car repossession while my account is up to date.

I bought a car from We Buy cars through Standard Bank finance and the car was repossessed while my account is up to date and upon following up with the bank and We Buy Cars, the car dealer provided me with all proof that the car was rightfully sold to me and from the bank side apparently the same car was sold twice to me and the previous owner and the previous owner was not making payments and the same bank when providing finance to me could not pick that the car they are financing is behind with payments. Standard bank legal team promised to attend to the matter urgently and promised compensation for inconvenience caused and up to date there is no meaningful update as to the way forward or the stage of investigation and I have been stranded for three weeks without an alternative car and the same legal person from the bank who promised the compensation and speedy solution to the matter is ignoring my calls and e-mails.
