Cannot pay FNB accounts from Standard Bank

Twice now I have attempted making a payment to two different organisations/persons at First National Bank and both times I get an SMS saying:-

Standard Bank: R294.00 paid to *** from 001 UNPAIDS/WEIERINGS FIRSTRAN. Acl bal R???????????? ?????????? Query? ********** 107

Phoning their suggested ********** 107 is a serious waste of my airtime & time. Do they really think that I am going to hold on forever.
