Cannot get info or documents RE my claim
My vehicle was in an accident, case reported to the cops, claim registered the following day, assessor saw the car on the same, or following day. A week later I learn that my car has been written off.

I am VERY surprised (it was a bumper bashing, in peak Rosebank traffic). I am told the insurance will pay R100k for the car. How is it possible that this car is a write-off?

So, to that query's end, I request the accident damage report that led them to take this decision, and Martin Langa tells me that I need to provide a registration certificate, and then they will decide whether releasing this information to me is allowed. After that, all communication just ceased. I email him, he doesn't mail back, I phone him, he is never available, or he left work early, but I leave messages, and am not phoned back. Much to my surprise, I googled \makgatla langa"and found plenty of hellopeter complaints that tell my story from another's mouth.

Dear Standard Bank. You wrote off my car. I want to KNOW WHY. Dear Standard Bank. My rental car has to go back at some point. You are paying for it"
