Cancelling a home loan issues

So I started the process of cancelling my home loan last year, and I did eventually manage to sell my home, during the process it seems according to the lawyers Standard Bank lost my title deed documents, this of course put a major spanner in the works and has now caused the process to be extended unnecessarily by 3 weeks, this has also lead to more interest and more debits that have to come off due to their incompetence that I have to pay which out of the sale of my house which is getting smaller. I emailed yesterday to extend the cancelling process again, as it would be lapsing. So due to them losing the documentation I'm out almost R20 000, but they don't seem to care at all. I'm so glad that once this is done I'm closing all my accounts with Standard Bank.
