Cancellation of Cession on policy

Standard Bank Hillcrest took n cession on a Old mutual policy of mine in 1998 as security on a loan. The loan was repaid in 2005 but they never released the policy benefit back to me. I have been trying since 12 Aug 2015 to obtain a cancellation letter from Std Bank as this policy expires in Oct 2015 where the benefit will be paid out. I have spend several hours on line with the call centre to obtain a cancellation letter but no luck. Finally i went to the Branch in person on various occasions to try and resolve this but neither of the managers David or Dale take charge in assisting me to obtain this letter. Engelien promises to come back to me each time but she doesn't do..i need to visit the branch and explain the situation each time to some one new. Still 6 weeks done the line no cancellation letter and no responsibility taken by any manager as to when i can expect the letter. Standard Bank obtain this policy as security for a loan which was repaid more than 10 years ago and they were quick to take cession but more than six weeks of engaging with them there is still no end date to cancel this session..
