Can you be Clear with me and take a position

I have a Prestige account with the branch and am a foreigner working on a permit, I have a revolving credit account and because my Permit was due to expire at the end of the year, there was a reduction order on this account. when i got a new permit, i took it to the bank hoping to get the reduction order removed on this RCP. On trying to submit this new permit and was told that the bank does not accept my new permit for some reason. The lady kindly offered to just double check with someone else and in the mean time made an enquiry via email and got a response that this matter would be investigated and resolved by the 25th of May. True to her word, the lady called me and advised that the bank could not proceed with my request. I tried to find out what the reason could be but she said she didnt know. What i need to understand is that if they say they dont accepted my Home affairs issued permit, what is going to happen with my accounts because i know people who all of a sudden cant access their money because of permit issues. all i need to know well in advance is if at the end of the year the bank is going to close business with me so i dont get surprises.
