Can't get credit card because I am a foreigner

I went into a standard bank branch on 03/07/15to apply for a credit card after I was offered one last when I got there the consultant did eveyth told me how much I qualify for and when he was done he told me unfortunately we can't give you the credit card bleaches u are using a permit the funny thing is I have an account with standard bank when my salary is paid there to them I am not a foreigner when I want to use the service they are offering me I can't get it because I am using a special permit why can't they close my account because I am a foreign **** standard bank is a good for nothing bank I will close my account move to Nedbank they value their client not this **** bank
