BULLY BOY CARD DIVISION (AKA standard bank)

A lovely phone call from a Mr Ambrose Andrews at 7.25 am this morning the 15th of July. Basically to say that I hadnt paid my credit card amount ( due yesterday I believe) I was over the limit and that i needed to pay it today and when was i going to pay it? Ill go online and check whats happening i said. No he said theyve often tried to call me and cant get through( a lie) and i need to tell him when today im going to pay it. Can you believe it? No i said again I will go online and make a payment when i see fit. This is the same bunch that I hello Petered previously asking why if they were going to sms me and phone me AFTER I hadnt paid and AFTER theyve deducted the R 145.00 penalty fee for late payment, why couldnt they do an SMS reminder on the 13th? Bullying a customer. What dismal behaviour not to mention lack of personal relations. i'm apalled.

The saga continues....Got an e mail on the 15th July from Serisha Nagan of the Standard bank complaints resolution centre, She wanted my ID in order to assist me. I rep**** on the 17th with my ID no and my main gripe. Guess what ? yep you right I havent heard a word. HOWEVER I have been hearing from the card division - always a different employee from the 'Chase the money' call centre and backed up by n sms with these tricky words " please pay urgently to ensure continued use of card" SURELY THEY ALREADY KNOW i CANT USE MY CREDIT CARD BECAUSE ITS AT THE LIMIT? or do they mean they are going to withdraw this service to me? So they are going to spend about R 5 per day on these bullying communcications and just dont understand that i want 3 things: 1.An apology for the way i was talked to from Ambrose Andrews on the 15th July at 7,25 am. 2. An assurance that i can be sent an sms 2 days before my due date as a reminder and indication of amount. 3. A reversal of the R 145 penalty imposed after this experience. If not I will pay my owing on the 13th of August. And after that will be asking FNB to move my other considerable accounts. Whats interesting is that none of the people I talk to can communicate with the rest of Standard bank? WHAT A DISASTEROUSLY PEOPLE UNFRIENDLY INSTITUTION THIS IS.
