Building Loan Standardbank.

I have a building loan with Standard Bank. They way it works is that they only pay for work completed. It was interesting for me to find out that there has been money paid out to the builder for work that has not been completed. When I asked for the assessors report to understand on what basis they paid out, I was told I could not get those. That seems unreasonable considering this is my loan that I need to repay. My banker has done her best to get information but it’s not forthcoming. I wonder what they are hiding form me. Not a great experience with this bank.
