Building claims rejected due to *********** building inspectors who inspected my home 3 years ago

I have been with Standard Bank home insurance in Port Elizabeth now for 3 years, and have been dutifully paying my premium and maintaining my home to above standard level. I have submitted 2 claims in the 3 years, which have both been rejected. For the first claim, my pool was damaged by floods and my claim was rejected on the grounds of poor installation. To put this into persepective, my home is financed with Standard Bank and they inspected my home prior to me purchasing the home. The second claim was for the floor tiles that lifted in my bathroom, and it was rejected due to "wear and tear". I'm an engineer and could'nt help but laugh at the claims agent when he mentioned the reason for the rejection. I contacted the complaints department at Standard Bank, but don't have high hopes that they will resolve my issue. Hence the 1 star rating for this financial institution. It is actually my faut for insuring my building with such an ********* and *********** company.
