BREACH OF PERSONAL DETAILS
After I got married, I went into the bank and changed my surname and title. Recently I needed bank statments for SARS, I went to print the statements inly to find that my surname had been changed back to my ****en name without my authority!!! I have been banking with this bank for almost 13 yrs now, I feel betraye, furious and am concerned that if something like this could happen, what else are they capable of??? Now I need to take time out of my day to correct this!!! Standing in long queues and waiting over 45 mins to be seen to!! This is disgusting!!! Breach of personal details is a very serious offence and I will be taking this matter further if Standard Bank cannot correct what they have done and compensate me for my time wasted!!!!
