Bounced debit order

I have my debit orders go through on the 31st of every month. Unfortunately or fortunately i only managed to pay in money into my account on the31st which was yesterday morning around 9am, but the debit order had already gone off at 7 in the morning. I thought since the payment was within the same day, standard bank would not return those orders, and im not aware of any time frame as far as debit orders money is suppossed to be in . Surely its within the same date still, and if standard bank is really there to provide a solution for its customers, they should rectify this and not have me fined for this, otherwise it would be absoloutely ridiculous and i would consider switching my salary account to fnb!!!!!
