BOND REPAYMENTS INCREASING MONTHLY ALTHOUGH I PAY ON TIME

Based on the fantastic feedback below, it appears as f SBSA is an urban legend for all the wrong reasons.

My bond payment was increased from R6800 to R9200 because my repayment term was reduced to 16 years. I will be 63 in 2024 so I get that

Six months go by and suddenly I get legal letters that I am in arrears and my bond repayment increases by more than R500 in 2 months. The best is it ncreases everyone a recalculation is done.

I do not get that SBSA stated I owe X amount and my payments were calculated to have X amount paid by January 2024, the interest rate was decreased by 25 basis points and like loan sharks their employees are recalculating my bond repayments every few days now and coming up with a new (greater) amount. Am I missing something here?

And the consultant that responded to my query, Christia Britz has not bothered to provide me with a reason for this interesting phenomenon.

Please note, I queried at the branch. The consultant Linda Sithole was very helpful. I got the response from Christia, thanks to Linda, I responded to the email on 24 September and called on 27 September again
