Bond - NCA Breach

Hi There<br> <br> I have sent numerous emails and no one has rep****.<br> <br> We have a business banking account with Standard bank. I keep getting passed from the business banker to the Prestige banker as the trust holds two residential properties. Apparently the business banking side does not deal with this. What am I paying the high business banking charges for ? <br> <br> I have queried two concerning items for the beneficiaries, namely why was each bond account charged an initiation fee of more than R5 000. As per the NCA you may not charge more than R5 000<br> <br> TABLE B<br> <br> Sub-sector Initiation fee Mortgage agreements (a) R1,000 per credit agreement, plus, 10% of the amount of the agreement in excess of R10,000 (b) But never to exceed R5,000.<br> <br> <br> The other query, is that as per the bond conditions, we have never paid the initial repayment amounts stated on the agreement. I understand that rates have have increased and along with this, the amount should increase. The one bond has been held for more than a year and since its inception (prior to rate hikes) we have never paid the original amount. The same goes for the other account. This is over and above the R200 monthly charge for each bond! <br> <br> Ross
