Bond just not coming down
I need to find out something please as I am very lost.
Nov 2022 we were told we were in the red with 50K on the bond so we did an extension.
Dec 2022 till March 2023 the bond was still been paid of R10 716.46.
That payment for 5 months is R53582.30
16th Nov 2022 I got a statement with the outstanding amount of 957016.66.
If I take 957016.66 and deduct 42865.84 if get an amount of 903434.36.
Now I get a clearance amount of balance outstanding 936244.32 (which I don’t understand) and then after all the extras it kicks us straight back over 956155.26.
It feels like all we do is pay this bond and nothing decreases, I need to know why.

Interest rate is the reason (sometimes i feel like the interest rate is been used as an excuse to take us for fools) you pay and pay but nothing decreases everything just increases
